Our Health Rights Service provides free information, advice and support to help children, young people, families, carers and professionals understand children's healthcare rights. Grounded in Article 24 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, we help children understand their right to the best possible health and to participate in decisions about their care. We provide impartial guidance through our website, resources, telephone and email, and deliver workshops, health-related play sessions, school activities and training to build confidence and understanding around healthcare experiences. As an independent charity, we're not part of any NHS Board or hospital, ensuring our information is unbiased and child-centred. We also help people access support through trusted partner organisations when needed. Through initiatives including Health Rights Defenders and the My Health, My Rights Charter, we help children share their views and influence healthcare policy and practice.
